I started my singing career at 10 years old, at my local church, where I sang 'If I ruled the world'. I was then recruited into an all male C of E church choir in 1972, where most of my basic training took place.

In 1993 I joined Bristol Opera under the watchful eye of my singing teacher of the time, Sue Weaver. Whilst at Bristol Opera I've been lucky enough to do 20 plus roles including Ping in Turandot, Gastone in La Traviata and Sharpless in Madame Butterfly.

I have sung with many other local choirs and opera companies, including the Phoenix, Cabot and Bath Minerva Choirs, Amici, Bath Opera and Shawford Opera. Whilst I love singing opera, I still see myself as choral singer.
